PITCH REPORT

International Sports stadium  is the third cricket stadium located in Sydney, Australia. It is owned and operated by the Australian’s cricket association operated by Cricket Australia. It serves as the home ground for the Sydney Sixers team. This ground is totally new for International matches and did not play any international match on this ground. But this pitch is used for many big bash matches.

International Sports Stadium Cricket Ground is one of the new grounds in the domestic cricket world which is operated by the Australia Cricket Board. It has a seating capacity of 25000 and has hosted 3 Big Bash Matches.

Overall, International Sports Stadium Cricket Ground holds a significant place in Men’s Big Bash cricket history and continues to be a prominent venue for domestic and international cricket matches in Sydney.

This pitch has served 3 matches of  Men’s Big Bash League and in 3 matches 1 times the first batting team won the match and 02 times second batting won the match. So toss is not an important role for this match.

Coffs Harbour’s pitch is balanced for both departments. But in the last 3 matches we have seen 2 times 175+ score so we can see again a high scoring match between Sydney Sixers & Brisbane Heat. The last Big Bash season witnessed the batting first side crossing 203 runs by Sydney Sixers and that was successfully defended by Sixers Team. However, the ground does not have huge straight boundaries ranging 70 metres long. The square boundaries’ size reads 62-63 metres. This suggests that hitting sixes on this ground requires power, making it risky to go for the aerial route.

In the initial overs, the bowling side needs to maintain a tight line and length, aiming to secure early breakthroughs to restrict the opponent to a low score. It is clear that the pacers will get a good amount of help with the new ball, and they will trouble the batters. The outfield here is quite fast, and the boundaries are not that big as well so batsmen can easily pass the boundary and score runs. In 3 matches played on this ground 1 match batting 1st won and 2 matches won by 2nd batting.
